The cause of the speed phenomenon

There are two main reasons for the “speed” phenomenon of cone crusher.:

Poor lubrication: When the dust-proof device fails or the seal is poor, dust may enter the lubricating oil system, resulting in decreased lubricity.This kind of poor lubrication will lead to dry friction between the bottom of the moving cone and the spherical bearing, the pump cone and the eccentric sleeve, thereby increasing the temperature during operation, and ultimately leading to the phenomenon of speed.

The gap between the moving cone and the bushing is too small: Over time, the wear of the spherical surface of the moving cone and the bowl-shaped tile increases, resulting in a decrease in the overall assembly position of the moving cone, thereby reducing the gap between the moving cone and the copper sleeve.This may cause the copper sleeve to deform, and eventually form a local contact between the spindle and the inner hole of the copper sleeve, causing speed.

Consequences of the speed phenomenon

”Speed" failure will not only affect the production efficiency of the cone crusher, but may also cause serious damage to equipment parts.The following are the potential consequences:

When running with load, if a speed car occurs, the broken ore cannot be discharged in time, and the upstream ore continues to enter, which may cause the equipment to block the frame and run overloaded.
This may cause the red sleeve to burn down, and even cause accidents such as broken bevel gear teeth.
Chronic failure to deal with or stop in time may cause irreversible damage to the equipment.

Solution

In view of the above-mentioned causes of speed phenomenon, we can take the following solutions:

Ensure lubrication effect: choose the right lubricating oil and pay attention to the viscosity and fluidity of the lubricating oil.It is recommended to install a water seal and dust-proof device, and regularly check the air tightness of the retaining ring and the annular retaining ring to prevent dust from entering the lubricating oil path.

Adjust the gap between the moving cone and the bushing: the spindle bushing and the eccentric sleeve need to be fixed to ensure that the two will not move relative to each other.And to ensure that the assembly gap between the spindle and the spindle bushing is reasonable, to ensure that the spindle is in full contact with the bushing along the full length.
